I also did this kind of thing to promote and have a great web visibility and to provide some information’s. SEO will really have a new face as time goes by, as today social media gives a lot more things for SEO, but basics are way good.

This test had nothing to do with Google+ and that was the point I did use G+ to build a bit of hype before publishing this article which is actually about 2 things. 1- The importance of SEO basics and 2 – My views on how Google+ will impact SEO. Nowhere on G+ did I say this SEO experiment had anything to do with G+.

The page I selected was 9 months old, attracting consistent search traffic and hadn’t changed for months until I altered the TITLE tag.

Rafiq, while I agree that tags probably still make a bigger difference, this is not a test. What is the control of the test? In other words, where is the comparison to a Google Plus SEO change and test?

Also, what was this page? There are too many factors here. Perhaps something else with the combination of a change was the actual impact?

I don’t dispute that a change is worth more than a +1 click, but this is not measured well here actually as there is no comparison to the difference Google +1 clicks have on a page’s rankings. (My own experience has been that they make quite a difference.)

Using the center line of the room lay the tile outward to the walls. The goal in the layout is to have the largest pieces of tile against each wall. You do not want a ten inch piece on one side and a one inch piece on the other. Try to balance the piece sizes if at all possible without ruining the visual appearance of the tile grout lines when you are done. A four foot wide hallway for instance with two full 12″ file and two eleven inch pieces is fine after deducting the width of the grout lines. If it appeals to you visually it is OK as long as you avoid those little narrow pieces of tile.
