WEB DEVELOPER
This person will be responsible for designing, building, testing and deploying PHP applications. Open source development experience (although advantageous) is not required if the candidate can has a good track record in other languages and demonstrate willingness and ability to learn to work with open source technologies.
REQUIRED:
- A minimum of 5 years programming experience in the relevant fields
- Expert knowledge of using relational databases, SQL and an understanding of networks
- Web 2.0 methodologies including AJAX
- Willing to travel internationally from time to time
SENIOR MOBILE DEVELOPER
- Collaborate with Solution Architects in the design of product architecture
- Develop new products against business requirements and the solution design
- Develop major enhancements for existing products in production
- Fix escalated bugs for existing products in production
- Share technical knowledge among peers
- Mentor more junior developers
- Where suitable take developmental lead on specific project
REQUIRED:
- Good understanding of Computer Science principles especially OOP, SOA, Web/Mobile 2.0 and distributed programming
- 5+ years total development experience
- 2+ years mobile device development experience in J2ME
- Good experience in http/socket based communication
- Good exposure to technical device capabilities (and their variances) in current handset market
- WAP 2.0 experience
- Strong user interface design skills
- Additional mobile platform experience (S60, Android, Windows Mobile, Brew etc
SCRUM MASTER/TESTER
- Implementation of software systems according to the accepted technical specifications
- Implementation of new software and changes according to the accepted technical specifications
- Delivery on new requirements and enhancements to existing systems
- Maintain and enhance existing websites and application
- Contribute to product innovation
- Deployment of web applications (both locally and internationally)
REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in similar role/s
- Strong entrepreneurial skills
- Ability to deal with clients from different cultures
- A passion for the web, particularly Web 2.0, and beyond.
- Experience of application development and/or testing and QA/QC
- 1-2 years prior QA experience in a hands-on position
- Willing to travel internationally from time to time
